Raw & Beautiful: The Motorcycle as Art
The
“Raw and Beautiful: the Motorcycle as Art” Inaugural Event is packed
with 12 vintage bikes like a 1946 Indian Restoration, 1954 Harley
Davidson KHK with special “show” chrome, 1980 BMW whose owners have
ridden it in 49 of the 50 states (they are waiting for a bridge to be
built to Hawaii!) , a 1966 Sears Scooter that retailed for $349 in its
day and many more!
Come see more than 18 vintage posters featuring motorcycle events from
around the world (all on sale by Mercury Poster), over 12 creatively
airbrushed and pinstriped helmets and tanks in various themes and
numerous photographs showing Rochester area motorcycle events and
groups dating back to the 1920’s. Artist Garry Geer has designed a
“Life’s Cycles” collection of photographs, digitally modified and
printed on aluminum (also for sale).
This show is a must-see for motorcyclists and those who admire them “from afar” for their artistic appeal.
Admission is FREE!
Join us for the Opening Reception on Friday, August 21st 5-8pm!
Enjoy cocktails, appetizers, raffle prizes and friends!
